Our story began in 1998

We’re Ashley and Jessica, and our story began long before Connected Legacy had a website, a logo, or a plan. We met in 1998 as freshmen in high school, before careers, families, and all the beautiful and busy parts of adult life.

What started as a teenage friendship grew into a lifelong sisterhood, shaped by milestones, distance, and growth.

We grew up together through late-night talks, unforgettable trips, and memories we still cherish. We became college roommates, joined different sororities, and kept finding ways to show up for each other through every season of life.

When Ashley moved to Los Angeles for design school, we learned that living far apart doesn’t have to mean growing apart. Staying connected takes intention. It takes effort. And it’s worth it.

After college came careers, families, and eventually a move to Texas for Ashley, while Jessica built her life in Ohio. Life filled up fast, and time together took more planning than it used to.

That’s when we realized what we needed: one place for inspiration, events, ideas, and helpful details to plan meaningful time together. Something that made connection easier, not harder.

When life gets busy and you’re wearing all the hats, stepping away to reconnect isn’t selfish. It’s essential. Time with the friend who knows every version of you—who you were and who you are now—refills you in a way nothing else can.

Connected Legacy was born from our desire to protect the friendship we’d built, spend more intentional time together, and help other women do the same.

We help you plan girls’ trips, girls’ nights, brunches, concerts, and reunions. We share firsthand written and video reviews, city guides, planning tools, and “Know Before You Go” details so you can spend less time researching and more time making memories.

Our shop brings together Ashley’s 20 years of experience in the fashion industry and product design with our shared love of friendship, travel, and making memories.

Together, we handpick the products and add our own custom designs, creating pieces with purpose and personality. From a matching moment with your bestie to something fun for your next girls’ trip, we want our products to add that extra flair—or make the perfect gift!

We also share In-Between Ideas for those times when a trip isn’t on the calendar yet. Staying close matters on the ordinary days, too.

And because we love a matching moment, we design original products that celebrate best friends, girls’ trips, concerts, and the memories you make together.
