Connected Legacy began long before there was ever a website. Ashley and Jessica met in 1998 as freshmen in high school. Before careers, families or knowing what life would eventually ask of them. 

What began as teenage friendship grew into a lifelong sisterhood shaped by milestones, distance, and growth.

We grew up together. Late night talks, unforgettable trips and memories to cherish forever. We became college roommates, joined different sororities, and somehow found a way to show up for each other through every season.

When Ashley moved to Los Angeles for design school distance taught them that long distance friendship doesn’t have to mean long distance connection. It takes intention and it takes effort.

After college came careers, families and eventually Ashley moved to Texas. Life filled up quickly.

We began to realize something. There weren’t simple tools to help long distance best friends plan meaningful reunions. There wasn’t one place for inspiration, events, ideas, and support for women balancing the different aspects of life. We needed something that made connection easier not harder.

When life gets busy and you’re wearing all the hats, stepping away to reconnect isn’t selfish, it’s essential. Planning a reunion with the friend who knows every version of you, who you were and who you are now is powerful. It refills you in a way nothing else does.

Connected Legacy was born from our desire to protect what we built, to spend more intentional time together, and to help other women do the same.
